Well it has been a while since I updated, but I wanted to do a run down of the highlights of our year. In January we moved into our new house in Idaho Falls. We waited for a few months to get into it and we have loved living here. Two weeks later Dave got a promotion at work and transferred to a different branch really close to our house as the new branch manager. It was funny because the week before we were thinking it was silly to move to the other side of town from where he was working and then the next week he moved branches. It was just one more confirmation of our move for us which was really cool.

Conner turned three and had a Lightning McQueen birthday (which he is still very much in to) and we got settled into the house. We actually unpacked really fast because we were so tired of living in an apartment again (even if it was only for a few months) and were so glad to have more room! We got called as nursery workers at church (which Dave volunteered for) and it was great because Janie got to go to nursery five months early.

In the spring we went on a family vacation to the west coast and saw the Redwoods, Lighthouses, Lake Tahoe and San Francisco, and Sumpter Oregon which had a really cool train and dredge. We also saw a really cool waterfall and went to see Crater Lake which is where we drove into a blizzard....in May! The kids did really well considering how much driving we did and we stayed a few days in Reno to enjoy the cheap hotels and all you can eat buffets before going to visit my sister on the way home.

We also had a mini Morgan reunion with Dave's parents, one sister and family and a brother. We went to McCall, Idaho which I had never been to before, and is very pretty. We rented a cabin by a golf course (which Dave loved) and wasn't to far from the lake and town. We had lots of fun playing at the cabin-ping pong, pool, air hockey etc. as well as going boating, shopping and seeing the sights. Conner and Janie got cool McCall t-shirts from Grammy which they love. : )

I was put in as the ward choir director this summer as well which has been a fun, but intimidating calling! We have a lot of talented people in our ward and I know very little about directing and/or singing in general besides how to pick out a part, so that has been interesting. Dave served in the Young Men's as an assistant adviser to the Priests and is now the Young Men's President. He says it is pretty much the same as being an adviser, but he has way more meetings to go to...which of course he just loves. : )

This fall we went to Nan's 80th birthday party and it was tons of fun to see cousins and aunts and uncles. It was a fun day to commemorate her life and accomplishments which was really neat.

For Halloween Conner was spider man and Janie was a princess. Conner has been pretty much obsessed with spider man since and continues to ask when we will have Halloween again so he can wear his costume. They had tons of fun dressing up and going to the library, zoo, and trick or treating around the neighborhood. And of course the CANDY! : )

For Thanksgiving we went to my parents house and for the first time since Dave and I got engaged, we didn't go out with the crazies on Black Friday! Instead we bought everything online. : ) The next week we found out we are having another boy in April! We are really excited about this new little one are enjoying these last few months of being a family of four! We can't seem to come up with a name though, so if you have suggestions, send them our way!

Dave surprised us all and got the week of Christmas off work so we headed down to Texas to visit the gang down there. It was great to have everyone together-we were only missing one brother-it was especially fun to watch Conner and Janie play with cousins their age. We had lots of fun playing games, watching movies, going to the zoo, acting out the Christmas story, and lots of other fun things. We are however tired of driving in the car and have all enjoyed our own space since we got home.

We had a low key New Years Eve since we were still recovering from our trip and then we enjoyed New Years with the family and Janie's birthday. Can't believe she is two! She is so much fun and she especially enjoyed her new stroller from Grandpa and Grandma. We love her so!

We are excited for the new year and hope it will be a great one!
